Unofficial Warframe Concept - Yareli Deluxe

This is an unofficial concept based on an older concept I did for the same Warframe, the older design being seen to the right of the title in the piece. This concept being classified as a 'Take2Challenge' if you will featuring a deluxe skin design for 'Yareli'. A Warframe in... Warframe! I wanted to take a variety of elements inspired by her abilities but took various inspirations cultural attire from Taiwan, China, and Vietnam. This is inspiration is especially seen in the helmet and it's ornamentation.

The name of the skin itself is pulled straight from Chinese mythology. That name being the Goddess of the Moon's name from the mythology which goes along well with the lunar themes I had goals of incorporating into the finished design.

As with the moon in our world controlling the tides, I also wanted to keep Yareli's aquatic aspects, hence the legs having a very watery type energy on them as well as the gill-like motif reaching up her neck. The gold accents having a sand dune-like flow but also having some scales in the patterns to keep with the aquatic theme.

Overall, for a design done in 2021, it's still been my favorite and a testament to how my art has evolved and was a turning point of my work into wanting to become a concept artist.
