Moonbird - Elder Scrolls Online Fanart

This is one of my favorite pieces of Moonbird, a character of mine in ESO inspired and centered around the House of Reveries. The House of Reveries being a masked group of performers, dedicated to their craft and the perfection of it. Moonbird is an unconventional side of that. She's a duelist and like many of her siblings in the House, she has a flair for the dramatics.

I really wanted to sell that flair for dramatics in this specific piece that showcased her duelist side. Especially in the most defining feature: her mask. Tamriel is a dangerous place and duels within the world are no different. I wanted Moonbird's Duelist mask to reflect that and so I added cracks filled with gold. Like broken porcelain put back together to look even more beautiful than before.

I played around a lot with metallics in this piece. With the simple lines on the outfit to add some detail especially. While they are not realistic, they add this bit of detail and an effect I really like.

Let's start off with a nice zoom on the character, I really want to point out my favorite details as I went further in on this piece. The metallics on the outfit were not so much a complex addition but they add some nice defining lines which I enjoy.

This was mainly a practice at using depth of field type effects in my works and honestly, I'm quite happy with how it looks.

We can also get a better look at the metallic accents on Moonbird's outfit in the full image here!

And on the closest zoom in, this is my favorite image out of the three within this post. This is a zoom in on the mask.

I toyed a lot with the idea of a cracked mask and figured since this piece featured the duelist side. Why not show damage?
